The Christmas Show!
♫ Fred Wilkes and Richard Sage received the following
short but sweet review of their CD "Sage Advice"
in a newspaper called "The Venue" which is available at The Mill.
"Whiskey sunshine and a cool breeze is what comes to mind as I flow through
this disc. Grateful Dead style keys with a blend of country music,
bouncing into a Bluesy feeling rockin' tune. Where are these guys from?
"King of The Delta" is a one of a kind. A+++"
Sage Advice is available at THE MILL...ask for
it by name!
The Mill also carries many other local Artist's recordings.

1/14 Open Mic with Blue Around the Edges
"Hell is full of musical amateurs." - George Bernard Shaw
Here we are, once again, pining away for a place to play (or listen)
to acoustic music.....hmmmmmm......how about The Mill??.....this coming
Saturday, Jan 14.....Starting at 7:30 pm (sign up @ 7:00) with an opener by
yours truly and continuing on from 8pm until 10:45pm with 15
minute spotlights for musicians. A final roundup with anyone that
wants to join us on stage closes the show by 11:00pm.
The Mill provides a living room ambiance...... ie, superbly comfortable
seating (couches, poufy chairs), candlelight (oohhmm), the scent of fresh
flowers (aaahhh), and condensor microphones (whoa) for the purest, most
natural sound. Musicians have yet to be disappointed playing to a
captive audience; and our audience has yet to be disappointed by the variety
of music and talent. This is an acoustic instrument event, and
musicians are given the option to play either originals or covers. All
ages welcome, however, please note, this venue is rented by us as a private
function, therefore, alcoholic beverages are allowed on a byob basis.
$5.00 minimum donation at the door for all in attendance (musicians and
listeners).....(gotta keep that electricity going). Soda, water,
juices, coffee, tea and munchies for sale. Free popcorn.
Alcoholic beverages permitted on a byob basis. Please come and share the
evening with us @ the MILL, 711 Putnam Pike, Greenville,
RI (phone: 401-949-8988).
