"Music at the Mill" is a hybrid of The Purple Piano, a concept that encourages music for all. While The Purple Piano still operates in it's new location at 649 Putnam Pike as a teaching facility with more than 400 students, the "old" place has transformed into a very special place of it's own. The Mill serves as a piano and guitar shop with sales and service of new and used guitars, as well as reconditioned and restored pianos. A retail area offers new and used instruments, accessories, music related gifts, a consignment art gallery, band instrument rentals, and some really great coffee!
  The new Workshop Series in our performance area provides music students and community members an opportunity to interact with musicians and performers in an intimate setting that facilitates creative dialog between the performers and the audience. The performance stage is also used as a band rehearsal space with digital recording capability.
